Alter and shape your own unique forms

Using paddles is a common way for potters to transform and alter their wheel-thrown pieces (once they are leather hard). Paddles can also be used to shape and compress the walls of your hand-built pieces.

Lightweight and ergonomic

Our paddles are hand crafted from pine wood and sanded to a smooth finish. You’ll find them to be strong and durable, yet lightweight and comfortable to hold, giving you a secure grip and complete control even if the handle is wet.

Two sizes are available for you. The large paddle is 270mm x 65mm x 20mm. The small paddle is 210mm x 65mm x 20cm.

Custom make your own unique designs 

Wooden paddles are so versatile and useful. They are excellent for shaping, forming, altering and compressing your clay surfaces. The soft pine wood also allows you to carve your own designs into the surface of our paddles to create your own unique patterns for surface decorating.
